Julie's Passion:
My passion is to share with others how they can understand their identity in Christ, God's grace and that he desires to live His life through us as Christians moment by moment and day by day. This is the victorious Christian life that is available to all of us as believers. It is an incredible blessing to be able to participate in what God is doing in the life of another believer. We are all on a journey, and to be able to share in the joys and sorrows of another as they learn to grow in their relationship with Christ brings great joy. It is especially exciting to see how God spreads His life and the truth as one life touches another life, and many come into a deeper abiding relationship with Jesus Christ.

Bio:
At twelve years of age, I was told by my parents that my two brothers had an incurable disease, and we did not know what the future held for them. I realized at that moment in time how little control we have over our own lives. I cried out to God and received Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior.

It wasn't until many years later, shortly after my second child was born that God revealed my self-sufficiency to me as I tried to create the "perfect Christian family" and be the "perfect wife and mother." None of it was working the way it was "supposed to" and the result was anger, disillusionment and depression. I began the journey of understanding God's grace and His unconditional love for me. I began to experience Galatians 2:20 and walked in a new freedom that came from knowing Christ as my life.

I was invited to come on staff in December of 2004 after God had clearly shown me that the desire to counsel and share this message had been placed there by Him. It was a great privilege for me to be able to become a counselor at Grace Summit. To be able to work with people I admire and have learned from has been rewarding for me and an opportunity for continued personal growth.
